It has been sixteen years since the last B.C.S.G. Book was published and this exciting and magnificently presented new hardback book with 432 pages and full colour photographs is edited by Group Chairman Ken Dallow and former Group Secretary John Abbotts.

The content is a mix of articles and stories selected from ones previously only published in “The Carp”, the Group`s in house Magazine, together with specially written material by members. Also included is a recent interview with carp fishing icon Peter Springate, a true carp angling craftsman who is still as enthusiastic today as he was thirty years ago when he first joined the B.C.S.G.. The final section of the book is devoted to extracts from the Group`s Rotary Letters and is full of technical and informative discussion.

The overall mix of material strikes a balance between technical subjects and carp fishing stories, some amusing and some nostalgic, in an effort to publish a work that carp anglers of all ages and experience will enjoy. It is already on the “must read list” of many Carp anglers.
